Kreuzberg California Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Bar Service

• Craft classic and original cocktails with creativity and precision

• Maintain consistent recipes, pours, and presentation standards

• Engage guests, offer recommendations, and create a welcoming experience

• Keep the bar stocked, organized, and clean throughout each shift

• Manage cash handling, tabs, and POS transactions accurately

• Follow all responsible alcohol service and safety regulations

Food Prep & Kitchen Support

• Prepare simple food items and bar snacks according to house recipes

• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

• Assist kitchen staff during busy periods as needed

• Cleaning & Organization

• Wash all dishes, glassware, and bar tools

• Keep workstations, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized

• Take initiative on opening and closing side work without being asked

Cross-Training & Team Culture

• Cross-train with our cafe team to support both sides of the business

• Step in wherever needed — we operate as one team, not separate departments

• Contribute ideas for drink menus, specials, and improving operations

• Treat every teammate as an equal, regardless of role or seniorityQualifications

• Previous bartending experience required

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and bar techniques

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment

• Willing to pitch in on food prep, dishes, and cafe tasks as needed

• Team player with a positive, respectful attitude

• Food handler's card / responsible beverage service certification RBS(or willingness to obtain)

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Special events

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
